Does it really work without internet?

Yes. The AI model runs on your own computer via a bundled engine. After installation you can unplug the internet and everything — drafting, the assistant, exports — keeps working. Internet is only used for the one-time download and for signing in / licensing.

Does it use ChatGPT or send my data to any external API?

No. LocalDraft AI runs its own AI model on your computer's processor — there are no calls to OpenAI or any third-party API, and no API keys to set up. Your prompts and drafts never leave your machine. That also means there are no usage limits or per-query fees: you can generate unlimited drafts on one flat subscription.

Is my clients' data safe?

Your drafts and client details never leave your device. There is no cloud database and no telemetry. That's the core design principle of LocalDraft AI.

What are the system requirements?

A Windows PC. The recommended model runs comfortably on 4 GB RAM; a larger, higher-quality model is available for machines with ~6 GB+.

How does the free trial work?

Create a free account and sign in inside the app — you get a 30-day full-feature trial of the AI. After that, templates, editing and exports stay free forever — only the AI features need a Pro subscription.

How many computers can I use it on?

Each plan includes device seats — Pro covers 1 computer, Firm covers 5. You activate by signing in with your account in the app, and for security the license locks to your device. Got a new computer? Contact support and we'll reset your devices in a minute.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

Payments are handled securely by Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). You can cancel anytime from your account page and keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
